After submitting your application for an Authentic Document ID, the PTA Wizard Create New Profile window opens to help you create a user profile.

The user profile you create will hold all the Digital IDs you purchase from VeriSign. It will also manage your access to VeriSign services.

The PTA wizard will open the New Profile window:

Enter a user name and password for your Authentic Document ID, and click Create.

The following page will be opened in your Web browser.

The VeriSign Customer Support department will be sending you e-mail confirmation that your request for an Authentic Document ID has been received.
It takes approximately two to four days to process a request for an Authentic Document ID.
Refer to our Certification Practices Statement for information about the verification and security processes that must be completed for an Authentic Document ID.
The status of you Authentic Document ID request can be checked at VeriSign's online status page.
